If you are new to this post, please look into the introduction of our series of blog posts on seed suppliers around the world HERE. A lot of microgreen lovers come from America. That’s why, in this blog post, we will talk about microgreen and other seed suppliers in America. Especially growers are coming from United States and Canada. Therefore, we found quite a lot suppliers, so your range to get the best seeds out there is wide. Some of the companies do sell internationally, but if not, it is stated below. Quite few suppliers have a very wide range of different seed varieties. Which is very good, so that you can choose, with which you would like to start or expand your portfolio.
This post is up-to-date (as of February 2020). Which means, that we are regularly updating, due to new suppliers or (re)-sellers. Please note, that we listed producers of microgreens and other seeds, but also (re)-sellers, because in some countries, you can get microgreens seeds or sprouting seeds just at some grocery/garden/e-shop stores/sellers.
But what if you are stated in non US country and still want to order.
If you are coming from other parts of the world, not stated in US or Canada, you still have some possibilities, to get the seeds, but be aware of several restrictions. It is your responsibility for knowing and adhering to agricultural import requirements specific to the country of importation. You need to check with your Ministry of Agriculture for information related to necessary permits or documents.
Before you order anything, see on suppliers web site, if he has perhaps written some table of restricted countries. This information could help you with further process.
If an import permit is required, you must obtain one from your Ministry of Agriculture. When an order requires a phytosanitary certificate, you need to pay some amount of money (depends on company) per shipment for this document. Please read conditions for international shipment on website you would like to import, because each one has several own requirements and restrictions. Some of them are unable to obtain a phytosanitary certificate for any type of pelleted seed, as the clay coating obstructs the seed from view.
If you ordered seeds and when your order arrives in your country, the customs service, or another government agency of your country, may charge you a fee on the item(s). If duties or taxes apply, you will be notified by your applicable government (usually customs) office. Suppliers are usually not responsible for these charges and has no control over the fees charged.
And if you didn’t read yet our introduction blog post on microgreens and other seed suppliers, please, check it out HERE.
If you are supplier of good, quality microgreen and sprouting seeds and we didn’t mention you, but you would like to be a part of these, please feel free to contact us, so that we can add you to our list.

The fact that they have inflammatory properties and healthy fatty acids make it questionable why it isn’t as popularly used as it is. That said, here are some of the best sabja seeds recipes you can use if you want a flavorful way to incorporate these seeds into your meals.
When we are talking about vegetables, we understand that they are completely edible and are quite nutritious. And, yes, we are talking about flowers that are completely edible. So, how do you grow edible flowers?
You can nick the coating of the seeds before planting them (optional), and soak them in warm water for up to 4 hours. Place the nasturtium seeds in moist soil and spread them out. Water as much as needed and use a grow light. Allow the nasturtium microgreens to grow at least 2 leaves before harvesting.
Microgreens are becoming quite popular nowadays because of how people have discovered that they are more nutritious than their seed or full-grown counterparts. That said, many people are now growing their own microgreens at home. But, when you are growing microgreens, do you have to use microgreen seeds? If so, what makes microgreen seeds different from regular seeds, in the first place?
In autumn, we can find a lot of mushrooms in the forest. If you have a passion for picking them, then now it’s the time to do so. And after a fruitful day in the forest, you can then prepare this fast and delicious mushroom ragu with all the mushrooms, that you have found, add some broccoli and mashed potatoes, and voila, lunch or dinner will be ready.
Microgreen growers use hydrogen peroxide because it’s a natural pesticide for plants. It fights diseases that attack the roots and pests that attack the foliage. It’s safer to use as a disinfectant for seeds than bleach. It also helps in boosting seed germination.
